For German speakers...

I've been doing some shopping at Tchibo. Their stuff comes with instructions in German (obviously, given where the company is from) and English.

The CD/MP3 player I just had as part of an order comes with rechargeable batteries. In the German instructions, they're called 'Akkus'. In the English... 'accus' as opposed to 'batteries', which is used in another context.

Are 'Akkus' specifically rechargeable Batterien?
