More supermarket stuff

Sainsbury's Blue Parrot (a range aimed at kids) fruit in jelly is... small bits of peach and pear in jelly ('jello' for our US friends...)

But where is it made? The UK? Europe? Further afield?

Answer

Australia. They ship fruit cocktail chunks in jelly from Australia.

I'm extremely tempted to ring the info line and ask if it's air freighted, then work out just how much energy was taken to bring it from the other side of the globe.
